Resume;
The writers
researched about teacher’s voices on
the 2013 curriculum for English Instructional activities. The paper was
aimed at providing a picture of challenges, opportunities and teachers’
perception on the use of this curriculum in English teaching. The researchers
analyzed this matter because the 2013 curriculum have been some pros and cons.
The qualitative method was used in this research and the data were collected
through in-depth interview to six English teachers in six pilot schools in
Bogor and Lampung. The result of the research found that teachers positively
perceive the changes offered in the new curriculum as an indication that the
country is working towards the betterment of its education quality, following
the continuously changing technology, science, and art.

The
research was about Understanding the 2013 curriculum of English teaching
through the teacher’s and policymakers’ perspectives. The outcome of the
research is the shift of SBC into K-13 is
not a thoughtless change and this study refuses the sound political arguments
that “changing the minister will change the curriculum”. The writer’s reason
analyzed this research that the issues
underlying the change from the School-Based Curriculum (SBC) to K-13 were the
failure of the former curricula, the anticipation demographic and economic circumstances
in the future, and the benefits offered within the change. The purpose of this
research is to understand issues associated with the policy design and teachers‟ policy perceptions, interpretations and implementation
of K-13 with special reference to ELT program at the targeted senior secondary
schools in Makassar. This research applied a mixed-method design that combining of quantitative and qualitative data in a
single study.

Resume:
The writers analyzed about the readiness and implementation of 2013 curriculum in The West Part of Seram District, Maluku Province, Indonesia. This research resulted that the West part of Seram district (SBB), related to the implementation of 2013 curriculum, is ready to implement the curriculum. The problems in this research found some inhibiting factors including: the lack of the handbooks for teachers and students, the mental readiness of teachers and students which are not optimally ready, disseminations. The writers’ reason researched it because the implementation of 2013 Curriculum, which has been established by the government, makes most of the school educators throughout Indonesia including West Seram district try hard to implement the curriculum. This research used qualitative descriptive method.
